by Germania Rodriguez Poleo, Chief U.S. Reporter · Mail OnlineHaunting social media posts reveal the anguish of a mother who jumped off Niagara falls with her child and baby in an apparent murder-suicide.
Chianti Means, 33, stepped over the guardrail at Luna Island on Monday night, taking her two kids, Roman, 9, and Mecca, four months, with her, according to New York State police.
Police are still looking for the three bodies as of Wednesday morning.
Means, who also went by Diamond Scott, had been sharing her wish on Facebook to get back with the father of her daughter.
Just days before jumping to her and her kids' deaths, Means marveled about her daughter, writing online that she was beautiful.
On October 14, Means expressed regret that she and her daughter's father were no longer together.
'Cause I was a dumb ass pregnant bitch who swore up and down I ain't want him,' she wrote about the breakup.
'I need all the positive energy I can get,' the mom added.
On October 11, Means shard a post that read: 'I just wanna become a calm woman when it comes to any situation. My biggest goal is calmness right now.
'I'm so sick of irritation, anger, sadness and rage.'
Earlier, on October 1, Means asked her loved ones for support as she tried to get back with her daughter's father.
'Everyone please leave me alone I’m in love with my daughter father,' she wrote.
'I want my family back. Respectfully [I don't care] what I said about him before or what anyone else thinks.'
She previously wrote: 'I wish someone would love me because the man that’s suppose to does not.'
Means, who lived in Niagara Falls with her family, worked as a domestic violence counselor, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Officials have said the plunge was 'intentional.'
However, they added that the 'circumstances remain under investigation.'
Many of Means' friends have posted tributes on Facebook for the mother of two.
'You really never know what anybody is going through….RIP, said Niesha Eukeya.
'I can’t even bare to write a post about her and share memories,' wrote Mich Molina.
'I am literally sick to my stomach and I can’t even deal with the emotions I am feeling. Just know her and her children are dearly loved by me and my children.'
