President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in the seven newly-appointed ministers in a ceremony held on Monday (today) at the council chamber of Aso Rock Villa.

This follows the Senate’s recent screening and confirmation of the ministers, which came after President Tinubu’s reshuffle in response to economic challenges.

He had earlier dismissed five ministers and nominated seven new ones, while reassigning 10 ministers to different portfolios.

The newly appointed ministers and their portfolios are:

Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction

Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi – Minister of Labour & Employment

Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State, Foreign Affairs

Dr. Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment

Idi Mukhtar Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development

Yusuf Abdullahi Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development

Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad – Minister of State, Education

These new ministers are expected to immediately begin their roles and contribute to the administration’s goals in their respective areas.
