Tinubu swears-in seven new ministers
by Adenle Ahmed Abiola · The Eagle OnlinePresident Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in the seven newly-appointed ministers in a ceremony held on Monday (today) at the council chamber of Aso Rock Villa.
This follows the Senate’s recent screening and confirmation of the ministers, which came after President Tinubu’s reshuffle in response to economic challenges.
He had earlier dismissed five ministers and nominated seven new ones, while reassigning 10 ministers to different portfolios.
The newly appointed ministers and their portfolios are:

Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi – Minister of Labour & Employment
Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State, Foreign Affairs
Dr. Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment
Idi Mukhtar Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development
Yusuf Abdullahi Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development
Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad – Minister of State, Education
These new ministers are expected to immediately begin their roles and contribute to the administration’s goals in their respective areas.
