JUST IN: Elon Musk says he agrees it is time for the US to leave NATO and the UN

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk expressed support for a U.S. withdrawal from both NATO and the United Nations, aligning with suggestions made by a social media user, @GuntherEagleman, who stated, “It’s time to leave NATO and the UN.”

Musk’s endorsement emerged in a post on Saturday night and comes amidst his influential relationship with President Donald Trump. This stance bolsters the administration’s growing skepticism towards international alliances. The Trump administration has previously critiqued NATO, with Trump frequently questioning its value and urging allies to boost defense spending.

Musk, who now heads the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has initiated efforts to cut federal spending, dismantling several federal agencies in the process.
