Authorities in Minneapolis Respond to Reports of Shooting Involving Federal Agents
At least two people have been shot by agents in Minneapolis this month, including Renee Good, 37, who was killed in her car.
by https://www.nytimes.com/by/scott-dodd · NY TimesThe authorities in Minneapolis were responding Saturday morning to reports of a shooting involving federal law enforcement, according to a social media post from the city’s official account.
The post said that city officials had no immediate details. The shooting reportedly occurred near the intersection of 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue, officials said.
The reports came a day after thousands of people protested against President Trump’s immigration crackdown in the streets of the city, where one woman was killed by an ICE agent earlier this month, and a man was shot in the leg by another.
Officials with the Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
