Satya Sanatan Conclave: During the Satya Sanatan Conclave, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri emphasised the spiritual essence of Mahakumbh 2025.
by Edited By: Nitin Kumar · India TVAs preparations for Mahakumbh 2025 gain momentum, India TV organised a special seminar called Satya Sanatan, which was attended by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj of Juna Akhara. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the universal inclusive message conveyed by the Mahakumbh that the great religious gathering transcends caste and creed and speaks of the glory of India’s timeless Sanatan culture.

Drawing attention to the changes in Mahakumbh arrangements in recent years, Swami Avdheshanand Giri said the previous governments had been indifferent to the event. However, while describing Mahakumbh 2025 as "Digital Kumbh", Prime Minister Narendra Modi also lauded the proactive approach of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
"The vision of PM Modi and CM Yogi has created a remarkable atmosphere across the country. Their efforts have elevated the Mahakumbh to a global platform," he remarked.
Mahakumbh's timeless message
Swami Avdheshanand Giri emphasised the eternal relevance of India's eternal culture, saying, "Mahakumbh spreads the message of social harmony and unity. It embodies the finest aspects of our culture and sends a message of global oneness. At Mahakumbh, saints and sages from all sects come together, showcasing a spirit of unity."
He also highlighted Maha Kumbha's eco-friendly programmes, calling it "a green, clean and healthy Kumbha". He added that the program will serve as a platform to showcase India’s traditional knowledge systems including Ayurveda to the world, which "solutions to many global problems lie in the wisdom of our heritage."
Inclusivity at Mahakumbh
When asked if Muslims are welcome at Mahakumbh, Swami Avdheshanand Giri replied, "Everyone is welcome, provided sanctity is maintained. We uphold cleanliness and purity in all our religious rituals, temples, and monasteries. Visitors must respect the dignity and traditions of the event."
He concluded by emphasising that Mahakumbh symbolises spiritual enlightenment and universal welfare, fostering an atmosphere of respect and harmony for all participants.
