Elon Musk has had quite the year in his government position alongside President Trump. To take a quick trip down memory lane, here they are holding a Tesla event together at the White House:

Just last week, Elon announced he'd be stepping back from his position as a special government employee, and President Trump gifted him a special gold key.

But now, Elon's relationship with President Trump seems to be deteriorating rapidly (and verrrrrry publicly). Earlier this week, Elon began demeaning the "Big, Beautiful Bill," calling it a "disgusting abomination" on X.

In response, President Trump said today in a White House meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz that he was "very surprised" and "very disappointed" in Musk.

They've continued to trade barbs as Elon has taken the comments even further, saying "without me, Trump would have lost the election," and claiming President Trump is showing "such ingratitude."

Then, President Trump fired back, claiming that Elon has "Trump derangement syndrome."

And then, Elon claimed that President Trump is allegedly named in the Epstein Files, which is why they haven't been released.

And as their friendship fallout continues, Ashley St. Clair, an author and conservative influencer who has been locked in a very public battle with Elon over child support and paternity of her son, has hilariously weighed in.
