A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has berated President Bola Tinubu and his cohorts over negotiations with terrorists following the wave of insecurity bedevilling the country.

Naija News reports that Okonkwo, during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme on Wednesday, accused Tinubu’s administration of being part of the criminal gang buying and selling Nigeria.

The legal practitioner said Tinubu will continue to play politics with everything, including insecurity, adding that the President is incapable of solving the insecurity problem.

He said, “So I’m sorry to say this, that the government is now part of the criminal gang that is buying and selling Nigerians.

“The only thing this lame, incompetent, lying and corrupt government know how to do is to politicize everything, including security. That’s why it is metastasising all over the nation.

“The President is incapable. He doesn’t have enough boots on the ground. You have a lot of ungoverned spaces. Hunger and hardship is increasing. Suffering of people increasing.

“They are easy to be recruited. Criminality is not being punished. Tinubu and his cohorts say they talk to the terrorists nicely to release the ones that they have.
“You can imagine that more than hundreds of people are kidnapped at a time, and they will release the whole 100 and nothing happened.”
