‘Only God Can Declare What Is Achievable Or Not’ – Onanuga Tackles Obasanjo Over Port Harcourt Refinery

Sharing a screenshot of a report in which Obasanjo was reported to have Tinubu’s plans to get the refineries working again won’t work because he had also tried and failed, Onanuga submitted that only God has the final say on what can be done or can not be done.
Naija News recalls the Port Harcourt Refinery resumed operations on Tuesday, 26th November, 2024.
The presidential media aide, in reaction to the development, said the resumption of operations is a lesson to all mortals who may be limited by their own doubts.
Onanuga added that the development is a reminder to all former leaders of Nigeria that with perseverance, determination, and faith in the abilities of the nation, many things that seem impossible to achieve are realizable.
The piece tagged, ‘Never say Never: A lesson for all mortals’ reads: “Only Almighty God possesses the divine authority to declare what is achievable or not.
“Today, the Port Harcourt refinery begins its operations, producing petroleum products against all odds and skepticism.
“This serves as a profound reminder to all of humanity, including our former leaders, that perseverance, determination, and faith in our capabilities can overcome even the harshest challenges.
“Let us learn from this moment that limits are often set by our own doubts, and with collective effort and unwavering resolve, we can bring about the change we seek.”
Meanwhile, President Tinubu has congratulated the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) on the successful revitalization of the Port Harcourt refinery and commencement of petroleum product loading on November 26, 2024.
In a statement through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu acknowledged the pivotal role of former President Muhammadu Buhari in initiating the comprehensive rehabilitation of all our refineries and expressed gratitude to the African Export-Import Bank for its confidence in financing this critical project.
Tinubu also commended the leadership of NNPC Limited’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, for his unwavering dedication and commitment to overcoming challenges and achieving the new milestone.
