Nicki Minaj declared herself Donald Trump’s “No. 1 fan” at a Treasury Department event on Wednesday. “And that’s not going to change,” she said. In fact, the more you hate Trump, the harder Minaj will stan. “The hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more, and it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more,” she said (per The Hill). “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him and the smear campaigns. It’s not going to work, okay? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him.”

Minaj has become more outspoken about her politics in recent years. And we’re not just talking about #ballgate. This past November, she addressed the United Nations, urging the body to “defend Christians in Nigeria.” This came after Minaj tweeted praise for President Trump, claiming he’s taking religious issues in Nigeria “seriously.” The lovefest is mutual, with J.D. Vance choosing Minaj’s side in her beef with Cardi B. At the Treasury event, announcing “Trump accounts” for newborns in America, President Trump and Minaj posed holding hands, giving us a handhold diptych with the Wicked press tour.
