Donald Trump warns World War 3 would be 'a war like no other' as he issues grim nuclear warning
by Benedict Tetzlaff-DeasNews Reporter, Andrew E Quinn · Irish MirrorUS President Donald Trump has expressed grave concerns recently, warning of the potential for World War III to breakout if a peace deal is not reached between Ukraine and Russia.
The President of the United States made the alarming remarks during a Justice Department press conference on Friday describing a future global conflict as "a war like no other".
However, President Trump remained optimistic about his prospects of persuading Russian President Vladimir Putin to agree to a peace deal, boasting, "we're in a good place".
President Trump also said he believes Vladimir Putin has a solid amount of "respect" for America and reiterated his call for the release of Ukrainian soldiers reportedly encircled in Kursk.
Trump confidently stated, "I think we're doing well with Russia, we're speaking with President Putin, we want to get the war over."
Moreover, Trump made claims regarding financial support: "Not only have we sent nearly $350 billion to Europe", citing what appears to be a massively overstated figure of US military aid sent to Ukraine, reports the Mirror.
Kyiv earlier this week backed proposals from Washington for a 30-day ceasefire to the conflict, which White House envoy Steve Witkoff later presented to Putin directly in a meeting on Thursday. The Russian leader has claimed "the idea is correct, and we certainly support it" but questioned the details of the plan and suggested certain demands would have to be met for the Kremlin to fully agree to it.
