John Boadu Elected NPP’s National Chairman

The former General Secretary polled 2888, emerged victorious ahead of former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko, 2048 votes, and former National Chairman Paul Afoko, who polled 490 votes.
John Boadu was elected as part of the NPP’s national executive elections, which brought together more than 7,000 delegates to elect officers to nine national positions.
The former General Secretary of the political party had last-minute support from Sammy Crabbe, which bolstered his chances.
Meanwhile, Justin Frimpong Kodua, popularly known as JFK, has been re-elected as the NPP’s General Secretary.
Mr Kodua secured 4,486 votes in the fiercely contested election.
