In a post shared following the burial ceremony held in Koforidua on Saturday, December 13, she recounted seeing the late minister in a dream shortly before waking up in distress. “I saw you in a dream, so vividly,” she wrote.
“Just as I drew closer to the car, you left the door open and quietly walked away, fading into thin air.”
She said the experience jolted her awake and reinforced the painful reality of his death. “Even through my childlike interpretation of the dream, I knew with painful clarity that you were truly gone,” she stated.
Joyce Bawah Mogtari described Dr. Omane Boamah as a deeply purposeful individual whose life choices were driven by impact rather than convenience.
“If you ever left the comfort of your home, it was always for a worthy cause,” she wrote, adding that his friendships were intentional and deeply valued.
She reflected on the closeness of their bond, noting that he consistently affirmed her place in his life. “You never tired of reminding me of the special person you believed me to be,” she said, describing a relationship marked by trust, openness and shared personal experiences.
In closing, she said the memories left behind would endure. “Now, I have no choice but to let go, to hold onto the beautiful memories and simply say thank you,” she wrote. “You made my life truly special.”
Dr. Omane Boamah died in a military helicopter crash on August 6, 2025. He was laid to rest in Koforidua following a solemn ceremony attended by family, colleagues and political figures.
