  • Visuals of large screens outside the iconic MSG flashing 'JUST&T MARRIED' went viral
  • Donald Trump and Taylor Swift have been at loggerheads for years

Pop sensation Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce got married in a big bash at the iconic Madison Square Garden (MSG) on July 3. The internet is flooded with snippets from the wedding that features multiple high-profile guests. However, US President Donald Trump made sure his gift to the newlyweds did not go unnoticed.

Moments after the 'JUST&T MARRIED' message popped up on the gigantic screens outside MSG, the White House tweeted an AI-generated image parodying the big announcement. With the caption "it's happened", the image featured the message 'TRUMP IS YOUR PRESIDENT' on illuminated pink screens.

The 80-year-old US President, who has a beef with Taylor Swift, has been at the pop singer throughout the week. On Thursday, the White House shared a post featuring Trump with several past Presidents, including Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, many memorable moments of American history, such as the moon landing, with the text 'America's Eras Tour'. It was a way to spoof the 36-year-old singer as the image had the same hue and design of the poster of Swift's billion-dollar Eras Tour.

Not only that, the post was shared with the caption "it's been a long time coming," which was a reference to a lyric from Swift's song 'Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince'.

Trump and Taylor have been at loggerheads for years. In 2024, when the popstar endorsed Democratic pick Kamala Harris before the presidential election, he hit back at her, saying, "I hate Taylor Swift". Then, the Republican mocked her more by posting on social media, "Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she's no longer 'HOT?'"

However, when Swift and Kelce got engaged last year, he wished them good luck, complimenting the NFL star as a "great guy" and calling her a "terrific person".
