The Supreme Court on Wednesday relaxed the bail conditions for former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy case, deleting the requirement to report to investigating agencies twice a week.

"We don’t find the said condition necessary," the bench stated while modifying the conditions imposed during Sisodia's bail on August 9 in connection with corruption and money laundering cases linked to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam.

The top court’s decision applies to both the CBI and Enforcement Directorate cases. Sisodia, however, will still be required to regularly attend trial court proceedings, the court clarified.
