Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 'Utkarsh Odisha - Make In Odisha Conclave 2025' in Bhubaneswar on January 28.
The two-day event, scheduled for January 28 and 29, will be held at Janata Maidan. The conclave aims to drive economic growth and position Odisha as a globally competitive investment destination.
The Prime Minister is expected to attend the conclave for over an hour, delivering the keynote address around 11 am. He will outline the central government's vision for transforming Odisha's industrial landscape, according to reports.
PM Modi is likely to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 10.35 am on January 28, proceeding directly to the event venue. He is scheduled to depart from Odisha at approximately 12.55 pm.
ABOUT THE MAKE IN ODISHA CONCLAVE 2025
Industry leaders from India and abroad will attend the state's flagship business summit.
The 'Utkarsh Odisha' event aims to attract both domestic and international investments across various sectors, positioning Odisha as an industrial powerhouse in Eastern India.
Organised by the Odisha government, the conclave will bring together business leaders, policymakers, and international investors interested in exploring opportunities in manufacturing, mining, green energy, IT, and infrastructure sectors.
A key highlight of the event is the concurrent 'Make in Odisha Expo', which will showcase Odisha's industrial strengths through thematic pavilions. It will cover key sectors such as minerals, manufacturing, renewable energy, textiles, and more. The Expo will also highlight the state's progressive policies, infrastructure capabilities, and skilled workforce.
According to the conclave's website, "The Expo will serve as a premier platform for networking, collaboration, and exploring new investment opportunities in one of India's most dynamic and fast-growing regions."
This will be Prime Minister Modi's second visit to Odisha in January. He previously attended the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas program in Bhubaneswar on January 9.
