Congress appoints Madhu Goud Yaskhi as new AIPC chairperson

Congress has appointed Madhu Goud Yaskhi as chairperson of the All India Professionals' Congress. The move follows Praveen Chakravarty's election to the Rajya Sabha from Tamil Nadu.

The Congress on Wednesday named Madhu Goud Yaskhi as the chairperson of the All India Professionals' Congress, replacing Praveen Chakravarty. He has replaced TN RS MP Praveen Chakraborty.

The appointment, made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, was announced in a statement. "The party appreciates the contributions of outgoing Chairperson, Shri Praveen Chakravarty," it said.

Chakravarty was recently elected to the Rajya Sabha from Tamil Nadu.

AIPC is a political platform of the Congress focused on the needs and aspirations of working professionals and entrepreneurs in the country.
