Maharashtra and Jharkhand citizens went to the polls to choose their next state governments. While Jharkhand voted in two phases—on November 13 and November 20—Maharashtra held voting for all its 288 assembly constituencies in a single phase on November 20.

DETAILS OF THE MAHARASHTRA ELECTION

Maharashtra voters cast their ballots for all 288 assembly seats in a single-day election on November 20. Polling was conducted smoothly from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM across the state.

As is customary on election day, a dry day was observed in Mumbai and other cities to ensure the process remained peaceful and without disturbances.

The vote counting will occur on November 23, and the results will be announced the same day.
