2 Dead, Several injured due to massive explosion at Pennsylvania nursing home

Pennsylvania: Atleast 2 people lost their lives and 5 injured after an explosion took place on Tuesday afternoon in Pennsylvania. The explosion reportedly took place around 2pm at a Nursing home.

As per the initial report, explosion took place due to possible gas leak.

The incident triggered panic among residents and the staffs at the facility. Immediately fire-fighters and rescue teams were rushed to the spot, and the injured were shifted to the nearest hospitals for treatment and the team traced for those who have gone missing.

Calling it a mass casualty event, Upper Makefield Township police advised locals to avoid the locality as multiple emergency agencies responded to the scene.

Authorities said investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the explosion. Officials added that further updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
