PM-Kisan 24th Instalment: Over 35 Lakh Odisha Farmers to Receive ₹708 Crore on Friday

Bhubaneswar: More than 3.5 million agrarian households across Odisha are slated to receive direct financial assistance on Friday, as the Union government disburses the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) program.

A government release issued Thursday confirmed that exactly ₹707,85,94,000 will be credited straight into the bank accounts of 35,39,297 registered farmers statewide. The regional payout is aligned with the wider observance of PM Kisan Utsav Diwas.

In Bhubaneswar, OUAT Krushi Shiksha Sadan, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo are scheduled to attend and mark the delivery of the central welfare package to the state’s agricultural community.
