Unknown gunmen shots fire outside US consulate in Toronto, still on the run

New Delhi: A fire incident took place in which an unknown gunmen fired shots outside US consulate in Toronto; this is the second such case this year.

However, no one suffered injuries during the attack but the building was reportedly damaged and a bullet chasing at the scene was found by police.

Following the incident, the Toronto Police tried to chase the vehicle of the suspect for an hour or so but didn’t continue it for too long due to danger.

As per reports, the suspect remains unknown and on run and has not been arrested yet.

Another such incident took place on March 10 during which a gunmen fired several shots at the US Consulate before fleeing the scene. In connection to this matter, two suspects were arrested in June.

The police is trying to identify if the latest shooting incident is connected to the previous attack or is done by someone else.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.
