Patna: Muzaffarpur civil surgeon has cancelled Prasad hospital’s license after 3 killed in massive blaze in ICU in Bihar. The entire hospital has been vacated, ANI reports.
A technical investigation is being undertaken in the hospital keeping all the angles to know what caused the blaze. Further action will be taken based on the investigation, Muzaffarpur civil surgeon said to ANI.
In the fire accident, three people were confirmed dead in a massive blaze that erupted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district. It was also confirmed by District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, Subrat Kumar Sen.

District Magistrate said, “Several lives were lost following a massive fire that broke out in the ICU of Prasad Hospital in Muzaffarpur. Firefighting teams, arriving promptly at the scene, have successfully brought the blaze under control. Reports received so far indicate three fatalities.”
Further investigation into this matter is underway.
