Odisha Student Union Elections 2026: ABVP Secures President Posts at BJB and Rajdhani Colleges in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has registered victories in several colleges and universities across Odisha in the Student Union Elections 2026, including two prominent colleges in Bhubaneswar — BJB College and Rajdhani College.

At BJB College, ABVP candidate Aryan Mohapatra won the president’s post, while Abinash Padhi secured the same position at Rajdhani College.

The student organisation also registered victories at several educational institutions in Kendrapara district, including Antei College in Marshaghai and Biju Patnaik College.

In another significant result, ABVP candidate Kirtibanta Rana emerged victorious in the presidential election at Berhampur University.

Meanwhile, ABVP candidates reportedly swept all the posts at Bishnu Samantaray College in Nuahat, Jajpur district, and Talcher College in Angul district.

The organisation also registered victories at Cuttack College, Kishore Nagar Degree College and Kanpur College in Narasinghpur.

At Angul Women’s College, ABVP candidate Akanksha Pradhan was elected president, while Pritismita Nayak secured the secretary’s post.

Similarly, Samir Behera, representing ABVP, won the president’s post at Suliapada Degree College in Mayurbhanj district.
