Gurgaon: In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped and assaulted by two men inside a moving van late on Monday night. She was later thrown out of the vehicle while it was still in motion on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road.

The woman suffered serious injuries to her face and required 12 stitches. Police said she was held captive for nearly three hours as the van moved through isolated areas of Faridabad amid dense fog.

According to the complaint, the woman had left her home around 8.30 pm after an argument with her mother. She told her sister she was going to a friend’s house and would return in a few hours. However, around midnight she could not find any transport. She then accepted a lift in a van with two men inside.
