Jharkhand Govt to hold fresh talks with protesting students

Jharkhand: Afresh of discussion has also been made to be held between the Jharkhand Govt. And students protesting alleged recruitments. The agitation has been sustained since for more than 2 weeks.

It is demanding action related to the examinations of JPSC and JSSC.

However, the situation has taken a serious turn as student leader Devendra Nath Mahto is on an indefinite hunger strike.

It is said that his condition has deteriorated a lot, putting more pressure on the government for resolving the issues related to the protesters.

They want more transparency and strict action in the recruitment and examination procedures.

Students were seen raising slogans on the cancellation of the preliminary examination of the 14th JPSC Civil services exam and to take probe against the accusations.

The state have previously said they would negotiate with demonstrators and fresh talks are also anticipated after fears for the condition of those fasting heightened this week.

Demonstrators’ efforts and negotiations are ongoing as we write this.
