Pro-Ukraine protests erupt across US after Trump, Vance’s clash with Zelensky

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in New York, Los Angeles, and Boston to show their support for Ukraine. Protesters also lined a road in Waitsfield, Vermont, where Vice President Vance and his family were visiting for a ski holiday. According to media reports, the family moved to an undisclosed location due to the demonstrations.
Vermont’s Republican Governor Phil Scott urged protesters to remain respectful, noting that while political disagreements exist, the vice president was in the state for a family trip with his young children.
Vice President Vance has not publicly commented on the protests, while counter-protesters supporting Trump and Vance were also seen in Waitsfield.
Additionally, demonstrations took place outside Tesla stores across the country, with protesters opposing billionaire Elon Musk’s efforts to cut government spending. Musk, who leads Tesla, has been appointed by Trump to head the Department of Government Efficiency, commonly known as Doge.
