PM Modi condoles deaths in Almora bus accident in Uttarakhand

New Delhi, Dec 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condoled the loss of lives in a bus mishap in Uttarakhand’s Almora district and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families. In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “The loss of lives due to a bus mishap in the Almora district of Uttarakhand is extremely saddening.

Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover at the earliest.” At least seven people are feared dead after a bus plunged into a gorge in the Bhikiyasain area of Almora district while travelling from Ramnagar in Nainital. Officials of the State Disaster Response Force said the bus, carrying around 17 to 18 passengers, fell into a gorge near Vinayak. Injured were taken to the government hospital in Bhikiyasain for treatment.
