Two terrorists killed in encounter in J&K’s Kishtwar
by GK Web Desk · Greater KashmirSrinagar, May 22: Two terrorists were killed in an ongoing gunfight with the security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, officials said.
The encounter broke out at about 6:50 am after the troops of 2 Para SF, Army’s 11RR, 7th Assam rifles and SOG Kishtwar launched a search operation between Shari and Mandral Dhok area of village Singhpora Chatroo.
As the security forces approached the suspected site, the hiding militants opened fire, leading to an encounter.
An official said that two terrorists have so far been killed in the gunfight.
