J&K Police raids houses of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) members in south Kashmir's Awantipora

Srinagar, Nov 12: In massive ongoing crackdown against the banned organisation Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), J&K Police carried out extensive raids at multiple locations across Awantipora, officials said,

They said the searches were conducted at the houses and premises of JeI members and their associates as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle the terror ecosystem and its support structures.

During the operation, incriminating material and digital devices were recovered, while several JeI members were questioned and bound down under law.

J&K Police reiterate its firm resolve to act against all elements associated with terrorism and its ecosystem, reaffirming its commitment towards maintaining peace, stability, and public order in the Police district.
