The government of India has instigated the Indian Army to take pretty significant action against terrorism and related activities. This is the main goal of the ongoing Operation Sindoor as well. As a part of this operation, the Indian Army is coming down heavily on terrorism groups in Pakistan and also their air defence systems.

In this context, Prime Minister Modi has addressed the nation for the first time since the start of Operation Sindoor.

At the fundamental level, Modi made it clear that he has given full freedom and operational authority to the Indian Army to take down terrorism. He stated that Pakistan and also the rest of the world is getting to witness the might of the Indian Army. He termed the Pahalgam terror attack as an act of “barbarism”.

Modi then spoke about the imminent nuclear threat from Pakistan and sounded least bothered about the same. “No nuclear weapon blackmail will be tolerated anymore. The Indian Army is equipped adequately to counter such barbaric forces.”

The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan was absolutely bombarded and left clueless by the relentless attacks from Indian troops. He said Pakistan had no way out from this situation, and that is the reason why they approached other countries to mediate with India.

Modi further added that the Pakistani DGMO has approached the Indian counterpart on May 10, saying there wouldn’t indulge in any terror or escalation activities henceforth, which prompted India. He started that the Indian Army had already wiped away a substantial portion of Pakistani sponsored terrorism which is why they paid heed to the communication from Pakistan.

Modi further concluded that Operation Sindoor is India’s response for terrorism and added that this is going to be the new normal from now on.
