RCB Stampede: Police charge IPL 2025 champions, KSCA with ‘criminal negligence’

A total of 47 people were injured while 11 lost their lives at a stampede outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday.

Bengaluru police have registered an FIR against IPL 2025 champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). Event management company DNA Network have also been charged in connection with the stampede that led to the death of 11 people. The case was charged with criminal negligence after 47 people were injured outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
