US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in Moscow for more talks with Russian leadership as Trump continues efforts to bring Russia's war in Ukraine to an end.
Potentially on the table is a US-proposed 30-day ceasefire, which Ukraine has agreed to, but which Putin has held back on .
Meanwhile, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and his British counterpart John Healey will chair a meeting of European defense ministers at NATO headquarters to discuss the status of military assistance to Ukraine.
