Meta agrees to pay Trump $25 million to settle a 2021 lawsuit brought by the president following the suspension of his Facebook and Instagram accounts in the wake of the January 6 riots at the Capitol.

Facebook parent company Meta has agreed to pay $25 million to settle a lawsuit from President Donald Trump against the company after it suspended his accounts following the deadly riot at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
