Germany: Police operation in Mannheim amid reported ramming

Local media in the southwestern German city of Mannheim reported on Monday that at least one person was killed as a car drove into a crowd in the city center.
Police have called on residents to avoid the area due to a large-scale operation at the central Paradeplatz.
The incident comes just weeks two people were killed in a car ramming in Munich.
