Videos shared on social media show people celebrating in Iran after US President Donald Trump claimed on his Truth Social platform that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had been killed in US and Israeli air strikes. An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman denied the reports, saying Khamenei and the Iranian president were both safe.
