Pakistani Police Use Tear Gas Against Khan Supporters

Officials locked down the Pakistani capital using shipping containers to block major roads. Supporters from Khan's opposition Tehrik-e Insaf party demanded his release, new elections, and the strengthening of the judiciary. Khan has been in prison since August 2023 over corruption charges that he claims are politically motivated.
