Anuj Agnihotri Tops Civil Services Exam 2025; 958 Candidates Qualify

New Delhi, Mar 6: Anuj Agnihotri has secured the first rank in the Civil Services Examination 2025, the results of which were declared on Friday by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull secured the second and third ranks respectively, according to the Commission.

A total of 958 candidates have qualified the examination and have been recommended for appointment to various central civil services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), the UPSC said in a statement.

The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages — preliminary, main and interview — to select officers for the country’s top administrative services.

The Commission also stated that the candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.

According to the government, 1,087 vacancies were reported to be filled through the Civil Services Examination 2025.

UPSC said candidates can obtain information or clarification regarding their examinations or recruitment from the facilitation counter at its campus on working days between 10 am and 5 pm, either in person or through the telephone numbers provided by the Commission.

The marks of candidates will be made available on the official UPSC website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result.
