Mumbai ferry incident: Body of missing boy found, toll touches 15
by Northlines · NorthlinesMumbai, Dec 21: The body of a seven-year-old boy, who had been missing since the tourist ferry-Indian Navy boat crashed off the Mumbai coast on December 18, was found on Saturday taking the toll to 15, official confirmed.
The boy, identified as Zohan Pathan, whose mother also died in the accident, hailed from Goa and was the last passanger who was missing.
Naval police has brought his body at govt run J J Hospital.
For the past 48 hours, a team of 50 personnel aboard nine Indian Navy and Coast Guard ships was scouring the waters off the Mumbai coast in search of Zohan , the last missing passenger from the ill-fated Neel Kamal ferry.
The ferry capsized after it was struck by a Navy speedboat during an engine trial on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of 14 people, including Navy personnel.
