J&K: Search Operation Launched After Suspicious Movement In Samba
by Northlines · NorthlinesJAMMU, Apr 5: Security forces on Sunday launched a search operation in a Samba district village of Jammu and Kashmir after reports of three suspicious individuals moving in the area, officials said.
A local resident of Bedh Khad in Darui spotted the unidentified persons at night, with one carrying a heavy backpack, moving along a dried-up stream.
Although no weapons were seen, authorities suspected the individuals could be terrorists. The Special Operations Group of the police, along with Army and paramilitary forces, began an operation to trace them.
Officials said the search was ongoing in the village and nearby areas, but no contact with the suspects had been made so far. (Agencies)
