New Delhi, March 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hailed the recently-concluded Mahakumbh at Prayagraj as a significant milestone, emphasizing its role as a response to those who questioned India’s ability to organize such a large-scale event. Addressing the Lok Sabha, Modi highlighted that the grandeur of the Mahakumbh showcased India’s organizational capacity and reflected the spirit of a “rising India.”

“The world witnessed the magnificence of India during the Mahakumbh, which not only displayed our logistical prowess but also embodied the unity of our people,” Modi said. “I bow to the crores of people of the country who contributed to the success of the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.”

The Prime Minister described the event as a strong example of the ‘sabka saath’ philosophy, emphasizing that it demonstrated how unity in diversity is deeply embedded in India’s cultural fabric. He also noted that India’s younger generation connected with the Mahakumbh, proudly embracing the country’s traditions and faith.

Modi’s remarks underscored the significance of the Mahakumbh as both a religious and cultural gathering that united millions in a shared spiritual experience.
