NEW DELHI, Feb 10: Opposition leaders on Tuesday said they would take a call on submitting a notice to move a resolution seeking removal of the Lok Sabha Speaker after holding a meeting with Speaker Om Birla.

The issue was discussed during a meeting of floor leaders of various Opposition parties held in the chamber of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge earlier in the day.

Opposition parties had on Monday decided to give the notice, alleging that Rahul Gandhi and other Opposition leaders were not allowed to speak in the House during the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address, and protesting the suspension of eight MPs. (Agencies)
