I warned you – Wike reacts as Gov Bala Mohammed claims FCT Minister wants to destroy him

Neysom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has slammed the governor of Bauchi State over recent remarks by the latter, claiming that Wike’s wants to destroy him.

During an interview on Channels TV on Thursday, Governor Mohammed accused the Minister of threatening the peace and stability of Bauchi State, alleging that Wike has “put fire” in the state through political intimidation and smear campaigns.

The governor claimed that the FCT Minister intends to destroy him with several allegations.

Reacting, Wike at an event on Thursday, said he warned the governor to steer clear of his state.

He said, “The governor of Bauchi State said all the problems he is having I’m the one, because I said I will put fire.

“If you don’t have power, why are you fighting? Go and face your problems. You came to my state and I told you to be careful, leave my state alone.

“Today, he doesn’t have the party to bring his successor. This is what I warned them. If you know you don’t have the spirit to fight, why not go and rest”?
