Osun decides: ADC National Secretary, Aregbesola casts his vote

Aregbesola voted at Ward 08, Unit 01, Ifofin, in Ilesa East Local Government Area of the state.

The former Osun State governor joined other voters across the state to participate in the election to determine the next occupant of the Bola Ige Government House for the next four years.
DAILY POST reports that a total of 15 political parties are on the ballot for the election, with incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke seeking re-election on the platform of the Accord Party.
Two candidates, Adesina Adeyemi-Doro of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and Simon Adewale of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, had announced their withdrawal from the contest.
While Adeyemi-Doro endorsed the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, Adewale declared support for Adeleke. Both APGA and APM, however, remain on the ballot.
