Former member of the House of Representatives from Bayelsa State, Israel Sunny-Goli, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is almost gone, while the African Democratic Congress, ADC, is wobbling.

Sunny-Goli made the remark on Thursday during an interview on Politics Today, on Channels Television, monitored by DAILY POST.

He was responding to questions about the possible destination of Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, who recently defected from PDP.

DAILY POST recalls that Diri, on Wednesday, announced his resignation from PDP.

When asked why he was confident that Governor Diri would join the All Progressives Congress, APC, even though the governor had yet to disclose his next move, Sunny-Goli said, “We believe the APC will eventually be Duoye Diri’s final destination, as it remains the only stable party in the country today.

“The PDP is almost gone, the ADC is wobbling, and no one knows when it will be stable enough to contest an election.”
