Organ Harvesting: Tinubu’s delegation begins consultation with UK over transferring Ekweremadu to Nigeria

President Tinubu’s delegation, led by Foreign Affairs Minister, Yusuf Tuggar, has commenced consultations with the United Kingdom, UK, authorities over the continued imprisonment of former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

The delegation is consulting with the UK authorities on the possibilities of securing Ekweremadu’s transfer to Nigeria to serve his remaining jail term.

On arrival in the UK, the delegation met with UK Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Justice, and they are expected to hold other meetings with key officials regarding the matter.

The consultation was confirmed to Arise Television by the spokesman of Foreign Affairs Minister, Yusuf Tuggar, Alkasim AbdulKadir.

AbdulKadir said: “Consultations still ongoing with UK authorities on the matter.

“An appeal for prisoner exchange for him to serve the remainder of his term in Nigeria” was tabled before the United Kingdom authorities.
