Iran warns U.S. to choose ceasefire or continued war via Israel

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, has said the conditions for a ceasefire between Iran and the United States are clear and explicit.

According to him, the U.S. must make a firm decision: either commit to the ceasefire or continue the war through Israel. He stressed that it cannot have both.

Araghchi also pointed to the situation in Lebanon, saying the global community is aware of the violence taking place there.

“The Iran-U.S. Ceasefire terms are clear and explicit: the U.S. must choose, ceasefire or continue war via Israel. It cannot have both.

“The world sees the massacres in Lebanon. The ball is in the U.S. court, and the world is watching whether it will act on its commitments,” he added.

He further noted that responsibility now lies with the United States, observing that “the ball is in the U.S. court,” while the world watches to see if it will follow through on its commitments.
