Rev Dachomo vows to take evidence of Plateau Christian genocide to Trump

The Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, for Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has promised to personally present evidence of alleged Christian genocide to United States President, Donald Trump.

The outspoken cleric, who made the promise in a video message posted on his X handle on Thursday, said he has sufficient facts and evidence which he intends to present to Trump to counter denials by the Nigerian government that Christians are not being deliberately targeted for elimination in the state by terrorists and bandits.

In the statement, Rev. Dachomo said he has already requested an audience with the U.S. authorities, and once approval is granted, he will travel to the United States to present evidence and facts of what he described as genocidal attacks on Christians in Plateau State to President Trump and the U.S. Congress.

“By God’s grace, I am planning to meet one-on-one with President Donald Trump with all the evidence and facts of Christian genocide in Plateau State,” the cleric said.

“I have all the facts on my table. Trump, open the door for me to come and sit down and explain to you. I will present all our lands that have been grabbed behind me,” he stated.

He added that while the Nigerian government and some Christian leaders have continued to deny the existence of genocide in Plateau State and other parts of Nigeria, he believes it is clear that Christians are being targeted, citing what he described as alarming statistics of over 7,000 Christians killed in the first 220 days of 2025.

“The Nigerian government and some Christian leaders are denying these facts, claiming the violence isn’t targeted at Christians specifically.

“But many of our homes have become terrorist camps. Please, Trump, you are doing the work of God. This is one of your campaign promises. God wants to show His strength to the world through you.

‘Save Nigeria from the terrorists who have already grabbed our lands. There are many places we can no longer go,’” he added.
