Adityanath inaugurates ‘Maa Ki Rasoi’ scheme offering full meal for just ₹9

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday (January 10, 2025) inaugurated ‘Maa Ki Rasoi,’ a community kitchen initiative offering a full meal for just ₹9, in Prayagraj. The community kitchen will be operated by the Nandi Sewa Sansthan at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital to serve people from the economically weaker section.

Mr. Adityanath expressed appreciation for the initiative and praised the quality of food, hygiene, and the services being offered. “Mr. Adityanath personally served food to the attendees, showing his commitment to the cause. He inspected the kitchen, reviewed its cleanliness, and appreciated the initiative, which aims to serve economically weaker sections of society,” read a State government statement.

The initiative, under which people can enjoy a full meal of dal, four rotis, vegetables, rice, salad, and a dessert for ₹9, has been launched around the Mahakumbh.

Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Principal Secretary in Home Department Sanjay Prasad, and Jagadguru Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das (Satuwa Baba) were present on the occasion.
