The Ram Temple Trust has received a warning about a security risk to the shrine in Ayodhya. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust received the warning in the mail on Monday night, alerting authorities to strengthen security at the temple. The Ram Temple trust filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the cyber cell unit of the district police, which is probing the issue.

Recently, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple building construction committee chairperson, Nripendra Misra, had said that a four kilometre security wall was to be built around the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“Engineers India Limited will construct the security wall. The wall’s height, thickness, and design has been decided. Construction will be initiated after soil testing,” added Mr. Misra.

The Ram Temple in Ayodhya has drawn over 13 crore visitors, surpassing the Taj Mahal as the most visited place in Uttar Pradesh, 2024. The huge footfall of tourists and devotees has led to an increase in patrolling around the temple and the city of Ayodhya.
