Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu landed at the Renigunta airport on Wednesday (November 27, 2024) evening to participate in the funeral rites of his younger brother Nara Ramamurthy Naidu, who passed away recently.

Mr. Naidu was accompanied by his son and Minister for Education Nara Lokesh. The duo headed straight for their ancestral village of Naravaripalle, where the ceremony will be held on Thursday.

He was extended a formal reception at the airport by TTD Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao, District Collector S. Venkateswar, Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu, TTD’s CV&SO S. Sridhar, Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, legislators Bojjala Sudheer Reddy (Srikalahasti), Arani Srinivasulu (Tirupati), Gali Bhanuprakash (Nagari), Koneti Adimoolam (Satyavedu), V. Thomas (Gangadhara Nellore), MLC B. Kalyan Chakravarthy among others.

In view of the huge inflow of VIP delegates, district in-charge Minister Anagani Satya Prasad (Revenue) arrived on Wednesday itself to inspect the arrangements being made at Tirupati and Naravaripalle.

Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, ministers K. Atchan Naidu (Agriculture), Anam Ramanarayana Reddy (Endowments), B.C. Janardhan Reddy (Roads and Buildings) and Vasamsetti Subash (Labour) are among those converging on the little village for the event.
