by Kelly-Ann Mills · The MirrorA 25-year-old woman who was heavily pregnant with her fifth child has not been seen for a month, by her desperate family who are asking the public for help.
Emma Baum was last seen at her boyfriend’s house in Gary, Indiana in the USA on October 10, her family said. They say she was already one centimetre dilated in the days before she was last seen, and must now have had her baby.
At a televised press conference, her sister Abigale Smith said: “We are looking for my sister. She was one centimetre dilated on October 4. She has been missing since October 10.
“We love you, Emma. And if you can hear us, there is nothing that you have done to make any of us stop loving you. We trust that somebody knows something and we want her home."
They say she was last seen at her boyfriend's home, with police confirming he has been taken into custody for an unrelated matter.
Jamie Baum, Emma’s mother, believes her daughter’s boyfriend had something to do with her sudden disappearance, according to the New York Post.
Her mum said: "I would like my daughter home. We miss her. Her babies need her. Her family needs her."
Gary police Commander Jack Hamady said that they have dedicated their search efforts to the three primary locations that have come up during the investigation looking at any CCTV footage in the areas where Emma was last seen.
The young mom is approximately 5ft 3 inches. She frequently wears wigs and different hair pieces but is naturally a brunette, the officer added.
